The guidelines for accessing the University Virtual ID are as follows:

- Please use the most recent OLEA credentials sent to your UMak email. Look for the email with the subject line: "New Password Guidelines for UMak Online Applications."
- Please use the password sent to your UMak email. Check the email with the subject line: "New Password Guidelines for the Online Virtual ID for HSU Students."
- Students who are officially enrolled in the current semester.
- Students who have already printed their University ID.
- Students who have been captured by the newly designed University ID from the previous semester.
- Students can only download their virtual id once.
